This policy explains how Golden Grass Health Care (“we”, “us”), which runs the BODYGUARD online store, collects and uses your personal data. It is written to follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email address, mobile number and password (stored only in encrypted, one-way hashed form).
- Order details: delivery addresses, items ordered, order history and payment method.
- Payment references: for UPI or bank transfers, the transaction reference (UTR) you give us. We never see or store your card numbers, UPI PIN or bank passwords.
- Support messages: tickets, return requests and photos you upload.
- Technical data: IP address and basic security logs, used to protect accounts from misuse.
Why we use it
- To process, deliver and support your orders and exchanges.
- To send order updates and sign-in verification codes by email.
- To keep your account secure and prevent fraud.
- To send offers and newsletters only if you subscribe – you can unsubscribe at any time.
- To meet legal duties such as GST invoicing and record keeping.
Who we share it with
We never sell your data. We share only what is needed with courier partners (to deliver your order), email service providers (to send you emails), advertising measurement partners where described under Cookies, and government authorities when the law requires it.
Cookies
We use essential cookies that keep you signed in, remember your cart and protect forms from misuse. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account is active. Order and invoice records are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require. You can ask us to delete your account at any time; we will remove what we are not legally required to keep.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent for marketing, or nominate someone to act for you. Most details can be updated yourself under My Account → Profile. For anything else, email support@mybodyguardstore.com.
Security
Passwords are hashed, sign-in requires a one-time code sent to your email, the site runs over HTTPS, and admin access is restricted and logged.
Children
Our store is meant for adults (18+). Purchases for children should be made by a parent or guardian.
